कंप्यूटर का परिचय

कंप्यूटर एक सामान्य प्रयोजन की मशीन है जो दिए गए निर्देशों के एक सेट के अनुसार असंशोधित तथ्यों को संशोधित करता है यह मशीन, हार्डवेयर और सॉफ्टवेयर का एक संयोजन होती है जोकि डाटा को जानकारियों में बदल देती है और इसके साथ साथ यह विभिन्न प्रकार की जटिल गणनाए भी कर सकती है यह एक इलेक्ट्रॉनिक डिवाइस होती है जिसका उपयोग डाटा व इंफॉर्मेशन को स्टोर करने और प्रोसेस करने में किया जाता है

कंप्यूटर क्या है ?

कंप्यूटर एक डिजिटल इलेक्ट्रॉनिक उपकरण है जोकि उपयोगकर्ता से डाटा स्वीकार करता है तथा उस पर सॉफ्टवेयर की मदद से विभिन्न प्रकार के ऑपरेशन अथवा कैलकुलेशन को परफॉर्म करता है और परिणामों (रिजल्ट्स) को उत्पन्न करता है कंप्यूटर को कार्य करने के लिए हार्डवेयर सॉफ्टवेयर दोनों की ही जरूरत पड़ती है।

आगे बढ़ने से पहले हमें निम्नलिखित शब्दों को समझना अति आवश्यक है :

डाटा :- असंशोधित तथ्य एवं आंकड़ों को कहते है।
इंफॉर्मेशन :- संशोधित (सार्थक) डाटा, जोकि प्रक्रियाओं के बाद डाटा को संगठित व समझ में आने लायक रूप में प्रस्तुत किया गया हो।
इंस्ट्रक्शन :- इंस्ट्रक्शन कमांड को कहते हैं जो कि कंप्यूटर को यह बताता है कि उसे क्या करना है।
प्रोसेसिंग :- डाटा पर क्रम में किए गए कार्यों को प्रोसेसिंग कहते हैं जोकि डाटा को जानकारियों में परिवर्तित करने का कार्य करती है।
हार्डवेयर :- कंप्यूटर के भौतिक घटको को हार्डवेयर कहते हैं।
प्रोग्राम :- प्रोग्राम एक प्रकार का निर्देशों का समूह होता है जोकि कंप्यूटर को यह बताता है की उसे सीक्वेंशियल या नॉन सीक्वेंशियल मैनर में क्या करना है।
सॉफ्टवेयर :- प्रोग्राम के समूह को सॉफ्टवेयर कहते हैं जिसके द्वारा कंप्यूटर किसी विशेष प्रकार के कार्य को करता है।

Introduction :-

Computer is a general purpose machine that manipulates raw facts, according to a set of instructions that are fed into it. It is actually a combination of both hardware and software that transforms data into information and performs calculation. So, one can say it is an electronic device which is used for storing and processing of data and information.

What is computer?

A computer is a digital electronic device that accepts the data from user, processes it by performing a variety of operations and calculations by using software to generate the result. It needs both hardware and software in order to be useful.

Now before proceeding further there are few terms that need to understood:

Data: Raw facts or figure that need to be processed.
Information: Meaningful data which is processed, organized and presented in an understandable form.
Instruction: Command that tells computer what to do.
Processing: Sequence of action taken on data to convert it into information.
Hardware: The physical components of computer.
Program: The instructions that tell the computer what to do, either in sequential or non-sequential manner.
Software: A sequence of instructions given to computer to perform a particular task.
